I know next to nothing about this trailer besides the fact that its a dixon-bate and was made for southern electric.

Does anyone know anything about them, or where I can get parts? I need the stabiliser legs.







I did a bit of a repaint on it.

Re Dixon - Bate:

Formed in 1921 by Basil Dixon-Bate & originally based in Chester, U.K. Manufactured general engineering products and Trailers.

From 1950 onwards established enviable reputation for the design and manufacture of Quality Towing Equipment, Towing Brackets, Floor Cranes and Caravan Products. Customers included many Vehicle Manufacturers, Public Utilities, Military vehicle manufacturers and caravan users.

1984 Management Buyout and move to 8000m² Modern Factory in Deeside, North Wales. Products include Towing Brackets & Accessories and Cycle Parking Equipment under the Grippa name.

In 1999 acquisition of Rapide boat trailers followed in 2004 by the acquisition of West Mersea boat trailers.

In 2009 the trailer business was sold to Mersea Trailers and the towing products business and Dixon-Bate trade name was sold to Bradley Doublelock Ltd.
