I bought this old Humber bicycle a few days ago, I've tightened everything up and got the brakes working and it seems in quite reasonable condition. It has an old Dunlop saddle the original chainwheel and Humber twin front forks. All it needs is a toggle/indicator chain for the Sturmey Archer gear hub as the old ones bent and the bike slips out of 1st and 2nd gear.[img][/img[/img][img][img][/img][img][/img][img][/img]

I just love these old vintage bicycles. My oldest is a 1910 Vinco and the most modern is a brand new Raliegh gents cycle 1979 found in a house after the old gentleman died.....apparently he brought two of everything and never got to ride this one.
I always take a couple of bicycles along to vintage shows or steam rallies and ride them round the site, they make a good talking point.

that photo reminded me of a warning on teletext today to drivers that in a few days time 3 traction engines are travelling in convoy to the Great Dorset Steam Fair from Sussex at 5mph. Smile

That is a Dursley Pederson bicycle circu 1905... about £3800.00 .
Dorset Steam Fair is a must have place to have visited at least once in your life.!!
Another is a lap on your motorcycle or classic car round the Nordschleife Nuburgring in the afternoon, then afterwards in the evening a tour of the bars around Cochem on the Mosel.
The first cycle is a gents Rudge Whitworth Cruiser circu 1930`s .
The second is a Ladies Runwell cycle circu 1912.
