Now I took my car for a service yesterday and was collared by the mechanic. Apparently someone came to Le Mans 20 years ago on a C15 and the big end went, so the bike was put in a barn and there it has stayed until now. The mechanic wants to restore it and asks where does he get the necessary spares. Now I'm sure one of you kind gentlemen will point me in the right direction so I can help him. Thanks in advance.

Hi Alpha bearings in Dudley will be able to supply a new big end bearing for the bike. I have used their service. They are slow if not in stock but very good and worth waiting for.

The best for BSA are C & D Autos. See: http://www.canddautos.co.uk/
They are doing a new website so the site is not very informative but e-mail them. They have the best stocks that I know of for BSA and have been going for over 50 years. _________________ Keep Torqueing,
