Hello,I have been offered a J Type van as a restoration project.
I have no idea what to offer as a sensible price.
Anyone out there got one,or knows anything about them.?
I can email some photo`s of the van,but having a job posting them onto here.
Any info please.

Prices seem strong for good and restorable vans, not sure on values but definitely higher than an equivalent Bedford CA, and probably a little higher than E83Ws.

Early J's had the Morris MO sidevalve engine, later JBs had the OHV B Series yet look visually identical, making the latter a bit more usable. Austin 101 versions have a different grille, are probably rarer, but I wouldn't have thought as desirable as a Morris.

Repair panels are being re-made for them, in fact the guy making them used to pop on here from time to time, so as long as it isn't terminally rotten, any van can be re-juvenated.

It'd be interesting to see some pics, either on here or email them over.

Hi. I'm a newbie, and had trouble finding the pictures? when I searched the site, I found photo's from a j Type blog, and one or two very old photo's....do you have a direct link please....or is it me?
