Thanks i think i have a few carb problems to sort out yet, but nothing too much. it kinda catches and starts running away on me

I like the finish you got on the brake drum, what did you use? It looks like 'black lead' for fire grate...

hello, glad everyone likes it so far Julian, i used a high-temp spray paint thats used on BBQ's, i also used it on the rad fins ( which i will take some pics of ) |

small update, i removed the dash board from the body so that i can stick the oil and temp guage on the engine to test it. i dont really know how the intrument cluster comes out though, does the front panel pop off, or do i have to un screw something from behind? i have the entire dashboard sitting on my bench so it no problem to poke at it, i just dont want to break something and have to fix it later |

ha, figured out how to get the guages out, i have been cleaning them and getting them ready to put back in. it apears they all work |

just a small update. i got the starter that i bought put on and it works great, it spins the engine over perfectly
i also have assembled the water pump and put it back on, now i just need some rad hose and i will have a working coolent system _________________ 1951 Austin A40 Devon |
