Hello,
Some time ago I picked up this Rover P4 100 from the estate of its deceased owner.
At the time i thought I would not keep the car long, but it has grown on me.
I gave it 12 months Mot (it had stood in their garage for 4 years) and started to use it.
Recently I thought it would make a very good towcar for my vintage and classic caravans.
Plus it will be in keeping with my display etc.
Does anyone else use one of these or did do in the past.?
I would have thought from the size of it and that large long stroke engine it would be ideal.

Nice car, I was tempted by a two-tone green one only a month or so ago. I'd have thought it'd be a pretty good tow-car, no doubt someone here will have first-hand experience.

It's a hefty lump so I doubt you'll end up with a tail wagging the dog scenario. (providing the suspension is tight and in good order!)

Julian.

hi al
we have atleast 2 members here in the Royale owners club who tow regularly with p100 Rovers, when doing classic car or rover club events,Sometimes doing quite high milages ie a tour of Scotland, so you should have no problems as long as you remember its an old car and needs that extra bit of tlc to keep her in tip top condition.
