Be gentle with Graham. I hope he doesn't mind me saying , but I get the impression he's not totally at home with the use of Forums.
His Roadster has an interesting history. I hope we get to hear it some day.
Message to Rick - quite a few Riley Roadster owners are now members; is your father ( a previous Riley Roadster owner) aware?
I'm up to five - temporarily I hope! |

This is a forum. Forums (fora?) are for like-minded enthusiasts to chat, brag, share info, and ask for advice.
Which is what you were doing, fair enough, but your post came across as a sales enquiry to a parts supplier, not a request for help to a like-minded community.
There is an advertisement section in which you can post a "wanted" advert.
It's just a matter of making impressions Graham. I cheekily posted that you are not at home with forums to point out to anyone who thought you a bit abrupt that you aren't like that, you're just struggling with foreign technology (you're not the only one!).
Note to Forum readers:
Treat this as a request from Graham for the trafficators. He's doing an epic job on this Roadster and I do hope he shares his experiences with us. It's hard enough in UK, so how he manages in Portugal I don't know. My hat is off to him for that. The Riley RM Club does have a forum of its own where Graham is making similar requests, but casting the net a little wider will do no harm. |

A PM is a private message, see the PM button on each post. You send a private message to the forum member instead of posting your message for all to see. We don't have that facility on the RM Club Forum more's the pity.
History: Only what we have been sharing recently Graham. But with its French student connection, disappearance to the Netherlands, Austin engine, etc; that's interesting enough. Let's hope the previous owner close to me comes up with some photos.
Post the reg. no. on here; you never know, someone may have come across it before.
Actually, I am out of order. I have just noticed that your original post was in the Adverts section, so you were halfway there. It's just that this is a forum; you made it sound like a message to a shop! |

Hi Rick
Who was it that used to have loads of indicator arms?
Did he have full sets with solenoids as well? _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.
