|
|
In march I recieved a call regarding a 1926 eccles box caravan that was restored in 1968 and left in a garden until now as a summer house, the owner has now sold the house and so the caravan needed to be moved,
yesterday I retrieved it from out of the garden,
one tyre still held air but the other was rotten so a quick wheel change legs up and we pushed the van round and man handled the van down the path which was barely wide enough, and out onto the road.
so here are a few pics
the van is now in my barn and is waiting in line for restoration.... |

Hi
I know who Donald and Dave were who restored the caravan in 1968. Where did you rescue the caravan from?

Hello, I am checking with a Don I know in the HCC to see if he was involved in the 1968 restoration. It would be great for him if thats the case. Can you tell me where you found it? Was it in the London area? |
