Did I say a few? There were actually 500 of the little cars for the 90th birthday celebrations of that wonderful car. I have never seen anything like it - they were everywhere and there were some real beauties. Some photographs to show you some of them.
The oldest van there, 1923 and up for sale at a cool £18K. My wife loved it but it is way out of my price range.
This one had a 750cc DOHC engine and was half of a 1500 cc V8.
This one was owned in America by the Woolworth family and had done just 6300 miles!
This was the one that my wife thought was the best at the show
How about an Army one
A rare Dixie
Some early Jaguars!
And a few sporty ones
A few non Sevens sneaked in so just for RichardH:
It was a super turn out although it was touch and go if it could be held there as the ground was so soft following the continual rain. I should have been at the School's own classic car show 2 weeks before but that had to be cancelled.
What a privilage to see all these cars. _________________ Keep Torqueing,

The Speedy CZ 6324 is my brothers and is the car than ran in the 1935 Le Mans. Well known in A7 circles. _________________ Jonathan Butler

SV 7529 is in fact a Rosengart (French-built Austin) rather than a Dixi (German-built). The Donaldson van is super, but has a modern replica body on a chassis which didn't start life as a van, so that really is top money |

I was there in my Ruby a round trip of nearly 300 miles
It only missed a beat when the king lead became loose but that was my fault as I'd loosened it when doing the pre journey checks and forgot to tighten it again!
45 m.p.g. and ½pint of oil
A great weekend & many thanks to all those whose hard work made it happen |

In sharp contrast I was taking part in a vintage run a few weeks back and it was headed up by this "oily rag" model.
The owner has had it for many years and uses it regularly. It retains the paintwork given to it by the students that he bought it from. The bulkhead in front of the windscreen still retains a note of its bearing size.

I went to have a look at a box saloon with a paint finish like that only the other day, this one was two tone though
