This old Herald has been sitting in the weekly market car park for at least 2 years, If i had the tools i had in the UK when i restored my Austin A40, would not mind having a go at restoring this car.

Just to the right of the Merc is a Ford Taurus, it's been there for a while as well.


Under the roof of the Ozbel driving school is a nice late 60s Beetle.

Coincidentally outside a driving school too, the popularity of Heralds with driving schools came up recently in another thread. I doubt learner cars had twin exhaust pipes though Smile

It looks well picked over, even the side windows have disappeared. I wonder if there's a rock-solid chassis hiding away underneath there, probably a rarity nowadays.

Yes Rick. The passenger side front end shocker is sticking through the inside wing. And a hell of a lot of rust on the sills.

No steering wheel and not much left of the dashboard either.
