I could do with some help from one of you classic caravan experts out there!
I had a 1950's Coventry Knight caravan (awaiting restoration) removed illegally by the neighbouring landowner. My first choice would be to get the original van back, but if he has broken it up I will be trying to get him to replace with a similar van or, as a bottom line, provide compensation.
Are these vans quite rare? Does anybody know how much these vans are worth? and does anyone have one for sale?
Any help or background appreciated. |

how are you going to stop your "neighbor" from repeating the offence?
i gather that breaking the law in the FIRST place was of no consequence to him. _________________ nothing is ever so far gone as to be unsalvageable. see this bolt?..... |

Did you tell the law at the time your van had been stolen by a neighbour? _________________ Fisher Siesta Caravan x3 |

I'm now pursuing it, hopefully with legal assistance, but solicitors are expensive. The neighbour however is extremely wealthy! |

Yes I have now made a crime report, but I'm not sure how far the Police will take it, may end up being treated as a civil matter and that costs £££! |

If the van was on your land and you do not know where it is now but knew who took it is that not theft? |

ah. we all know that the wealthy do not commit crimes. you "must" be mistaken. perhaps you mislaid the item in question?
(sorry; that's the kind of response we get here, as well, from the PC) _________________ nothing is ever so far gone as to be unsalvageable. see this bolt?..... |
