or, you just might end up trading a pickup truck for a '51 Ford Custom V8 tudor saloon that you have to haul back 100 miles to get it home! which, oddly enough, i did this past weekend...... intentions are for a mild custom with a more modern drivetrain, nothing drastic like chopping the top or sectioning the body. _________________ nothing is ever so far gone as to be unsalvageable. see this bolt?..... |

| It would be nice to see some pics of before and after, I just love 50/60s American cars. |

| 100 miles is not far, some people have to go more for a fresh loaf of bread. I used to go that far for supplies every two weeks. Fresh bread and milk was always good. |

i'll have to email Rick the pics and he can post them up; i don't do photobucket etc...
my work hours don't help. go in at 10, off at 7.... give another fella a ride to work so we leave here at 9. can't get all sweaty and dirty before i go to work, so.... time to work on her is limited at best. having evening thunderstorms every night isn't helping matters. _________________ nothing is ever so far gone as to be unsalvageable. see this bolt?..... |

ah, but you require some sort of intermediary file sharing program to post piccies here.... 'bucket is just one of many. no worries. some members here are also on the HAMB and i post there frequently. just imagine a quite shabby '51 Ford tudor saloon in pale green and rust, with cracked windows, and you've captured the mental image! oh, you'll have to use "smell-o-vision" to enjoy (??) the aroma of petrified rat poop that i've been cleaning out of it... _________________ nothing is ever so far gone as to be unsalvageable. see this bolt?..... |
