Hello All,
We have today taken delivery of a 1963 Sprite Alpine.
We have no experience of Sprite vans at all.
Can anyone give us any information on how the original interior layout would have been, pictures would be a huge bonus.
Best Regards.
Wes. |

Best I can do from my ephemera; the brochure is 1959, I don't know how old the advert is.

Hello David/Alec/All.
Thanks for the tip David, I have just ordered the book.
Thanks for the info Alec, but we appear to have a different layout (centre kitchen), newer van I suppose.
Best Regards.

Hi, is it the van that was on ebay a few days back in macclesfield. If so it used to belong to me. I can pass on info and pics of the van when i got it and a copy of the original instruction booklet. I also have a 62 musketeer which shares the same styling/ furniture, etc. Feel free to give me a call: 07974 600008. |

MrCrab, have you considered filling it with an array of random patterned textiles?
I also recommend at least 18 cushions per bench seat, each of a different pattern.
How about a string of bunting, that would work well with a 6 foot ceiling height. _________________ 1937 Standard Flying Twelve

Does anyone happen to have any brochures/ old photos of the early musketeer - as mentioned in the 1959 brochure scan posted above. I've drawn a blank as regards getting hold of any info, photos or literature for my van. thanks, Andy |

Hello All.
Alan kindly e-mailed the brochure for the 1961 model but it is different to our van, so I am still on the lookout.
Best Regards.

Here are some photos of my 62 Musketeer - the same furniture sections were used in the 62/63 alpine though positioned differently. I can't get the photos to appear in the post but if you copy and paste into your browser the link you should be able to see them. http://s1160.photobucket.com/albums/q492/andyrr1971/ |
