As a nipper growing up in the 70s in Cheadle (Cheshire, not the Staffs one), I remember two Reads of Cheadle garages, one on the high street, and the other a short distance away on Gatley Road. Neither buildings remain.
Does anyone have any photos of this former British Leyland dealership? I'm not sure how long it had been there by the mid-70s, so it could well go back into the BMC days.
