Reading the tread about the car inspired pool tables, it made me wonder if anyone has cut up rusty cars to make them into furniture, garden features or anything else.

I’ll start with my Mk1 Cortina two seater sofa that I made from a rusty old 1966 1200 four door saloon- it is very comfortable to sit on!

We used this matching pair of candlestick holders on our dining table for many years. I think you can still see some blobs of wax on the left hand one.

After breaking one and a half teeth off 3rd gear and causing me to replace the layshaft twice I decided the Reliant Rebel was just too fragile for my driving style.

I have seen a few coffee tables with a wheel and a round piece of glass on top. Also cutting a tyre on a wheel and turning it inside out to make a flowerpot.
