I am iinterested in limited edition road cars that were named after racing drivers, eg the Jack Brabham Vauxhall Viva.

Here is an Australian example - the 1974 XB Ford Falcon "John Goss Special"

Are there many others?

Didn't Schumacher have a special edition Fiat named after him?

There was a Toyota Celica 4 "Carlos Sainz", technically a rally driver rather than a racing driver.

Do we count the countless vehicles named "Cooper"?

And quite recently, the Mercedes-Benz SLR Stirling Moss.

You have to include anything with Cooper on it. Also, not a car, but an excellent motor bike, Ducati Senna.

Hi
What is "Limited"?

The mini cooper must have been made in large numbers in comparison to say Brabham vivas.

Do the various Shelbys count?

Yes, sorry, I'd glossed over the "Limited" part of things when I mentioned Cooper. I guess back in the day, it might well have been more of a limited number before the badge engineers took over.

There was also a Subaru Impreza 'Colin McRae' special edition.
And I do think rally drivers count as racing drivers, but I maybe biased as an ex-rally driver!!

According to a "spotted" thread on another forum, there was a Honda Civic Jordan. I know it's named after the F1 team, but that's named after a bloke, so it counts by proxy.
