I sent Rick a PM asking roughly how many Scottish members we have and where they are located but he cant really judge as a lot of members dont put their location on their profile.
I had toyed with the idea of all meeting up somewhere next summer that would be central enough to suit us all and bring our cars.....How do you feel about that idea.?

That's a nice thought, because I always feel a bit of an outsider at car shows. Perhaps more practical would be a meet-up at an existing big event like Glamis.

Hi
I would think the vast majority will be in the area bounded by SW Ayr, NW Dumbarton, NE Dundee and SE Dunbar.
Uunless there are loads of old cars still used as dailies in the highlands and islands, but then such owners possibly wouldn't consider them as anything special.

The Biggar rally is quite a good event to meet up at. Glamis is good too.

Biggar is a great rally as is Moffat but with Moffat you need your entries in as soon as possible. I had just thought of Glamis for the sake of any members from up North.
Errol is a good event as well with plenty of room. There is not a lot of autojumble. It is ok but there is a great big outdoor market there.
I noticed also that John Dale is from Kelvin Valley.
I just think it would be good to have a few of us together. We could always invent a club name......Maybe Rick wouldnt allow that.

If the name you chose helped raised the profile of the forum at the same time, then that'd help me a bit.

Good idea Rick or even do a borders rally and Penman could join in and any more from over the wall.
Kidding aside it is feasible and would be quite good. Cool

Probably it would be better to let each other know which shows we are going to and then come over and say hello on the day.
