Oh no Dave. Being a Royalist thats the best ending to a great Jubilee year.
Independence for Scotland...no way. Anyway the show was recorded ages ago. _________________ The Clan Chieftain |

Those of you who are old enough; may remember it was once called The Royal Command Performance. Star turn was always some 2nd rate yank.
I often wondered if the royals really did sit down round a table and discuss who they were going to command to perform at the London Palladium? They had crap taste then and what's foisted on us now is probably no better. I'm just assuming that; because I don't think I've watched it since the 50s... we'd watch anything then. _________________ Due to the onset of my mid eighties I'm no longer sprightly and rarely seen in my Austin special. What are you complaining about? It does at least answer that question - I wonder if so-and-so is still alive? Fortunately you can anwer that question by looking through the list of the usual suspects in a TV programme magazine, without having to sit through all that tripe. I feel sorry for the Royal Family, I could at least watch Time Team and Salvage Hunters instead

We sped through it last night on ITV Player. Bill Bailey's rendition of the 1812 Overture was funny and some of the Britain's Got Talent acts were good but the wrinklies - Jmmy Tarbuck, Neil Diamond, Rod Stewart - oh dear, oh dear... |
