Afternoon all,

Some users posting in the caravan category I also see posting in threads in other categories across the forum. That's great, and is something I'm keen to encourage.

I'm just curious to find out how many of the regulars in the caravan category, never or rarely venture beyond its walls, to view the other categories that are running?

It'd be useful to know. For instance, if I post a thread about a change that's been made to the forum as a whole, say in the "Classic & Vintage Cars - General" category, will the caravan forum regulars miss it, because they don't often look around elsewhere on the forum?

thanks, RJ

G'day Rick,

I have to admit I rarely go to the other forums but...... I did find the old car forum very useful at one time, got good information about a wheel bearing I had been trying to identify for about two years.

Fair to say I would not be aware of changes if they were not drawn to my attention by being posted here or.... By email, which I have received occasionally, thank you Wink

I just love to read about other folks vehicles......cars,vans,caravans motorcycles or cycles.
Having a diverse collection and interest in old things myself it is most interesting.

The caravan section has been a bit the same recently I must admit, compared with say two years ago.

The caravans talked about are much of the same, lets hear a bit more about some of the older, rare or barn, garage or field caravan finds out there.
Or caravans you know of owned by people who never go on the internet.
There must be lots out there who neither belong to clubs or go to events.
If I am out and about I always have my digital camera with me...you never know.

Hi Rick,
on the forum I run I have an option to put up "Announcements" either local (individual forums) or Global (for all forums) so consequently we tend to put it up for all to see Very Happy

The caravan section is normally my first port of call and it's rare for me to venture to other categories. I do have a flick around now and then to see if anything catches my eye, but on the whole, it's time that restricts me from browsing around more. Work and other everyday activities restrict my time to browse any forum. I do this forum, the Land Rover Series II Club forum and Northants4x4 forum. I really don’t get the time to do anymore....
