I didnt carry out my 2012 New Year Resolution as I am still smoking. If I had stopped I could have bought that wee Morris 8 Tourer, or got the estate painted. Sad I am going to make the effort next year. Mind you I said I would stop when I turned 40..then 50..then 60 and 65. Definitely this time. Rolling Eyes

Good luck with your resolution Larry. Please keep to it, if only for the sake of others including us lot who require many more healthy years of your posting.

Having said that, I have never smoked but don't think that I feel (at 53) as good as I deserve to for my troubles.

My resolution is to use cars to do things more often than to do things to cars.

I stopped my cigar habit <clicks> just like that about twenty five years ago. If I can, anyone can - stick with your resolution Larry.

My resolution, which my family says I will stick to or else, is to FINISH WHAT I'VE STARTED.

Not just the cars, I started a house extension in Nov 2011 and whilst the walls, floors and roof went up quick enough, the cloakroom and en-suite are still empty rooms, the hall and landing undecorated.

Maybe the 'inertia,' of the building work would get me out into the garage -
the BMW is nearer the finish than the start!
