As it is wet and windy today I am going to have a clearout in my garage as I am a bit of a magpie. I keep too many used bits and pieces that I have removed from marinas over the years. Its mad really when you can still buy the parts new. More than likely I will sort out which parts I am going to keep and then put most of it back. Its not the first time I have chucked out something and then needed it. Who else keeps boxes of bits...probably all of us. _________________ The Clan Chieftain |

I still have an c1950 Ford Popular rear axle and torque tube (with its crownwheel and pinion stripped!) in my back garden - heaven knows why because I sold the Ford 16 years ago and this diff is knackered, a great source of mirth to my family! |

Didnt do anything in the garage today. The weather dried up and I worked on the Gazelle And cut the grass after my dinner. _________________ The Clan Chieftain |

My garage and three sheds are bulging at the seams where I keep chucking things in and promising myself I will sell them on ebay. Meawhile my lower back osteo-arthritis is getting worse and I may never be able to sort the stuff if I wait much longer... perhaps tomorrow. _________________ Due to the onset of my mid eighties I'm no longer sprightly and rarely seen in my Austin special. I also have a shed at the back of the garden where I keep the big stuff. I have 5 gearboxes, 4 front screens, 3 rear screens, umpteen bits of drop glass and 1/4 lght glass. 2 used downpipes,2 new tailpipes, 2 back axles,a bonnet and other bits in boxes. I keep my spare 1800 engine in the garage and a 1300 that needs a rebore. _________________ The Clan Chieftain |

There are plenty club members who dont need anything for their marina.probably if it was free that would be a different story. I suppose most clubs are the same. _________________ The Clan Chieftain |

Another clear out today.Back seat down on the estate.Got rid of old bumpers with peeling chrome and 4 old wheels, a couple of scratched windscreens ( I kept 3 good ones) A rotten saloon bootlid and various dented wheel trims. Paint tins and bits of wood and bricks. The place looks a lot tidier now and I have more room.
Must get a rotten marina for breaking now. None lying about anywhere? _________________ The Clan Chieftain |

| Sold 4 Landcruiser wheels with blown up tyres for $26. That's all I could get on E-bay. Had to go, no choice. |
