We probably all have tools that we havent used in ages.
I have an adjustable reamer..a pair of coil spring compressors..countless BSF spanners..a thread file..couple of sets of mag spanners and worn and broken spanners but I havent the heart to throw them out....just in case. _________________ The Clan Chieftain |

Trouble is the ones you don't use often tend to be the ones that are absolutely indespensible when you do need them. My list runs something like
All my woodworking tools - never have the time these days
Coil spring compressors
Valve spring compressor
Torque wrench
Nut splitter
Wouldn't be without any of them! |

| My Imperial engineering tools, are very rarely used now, but occasionally I might get asked to check a crank or block. |

My common sense manual, swiftly followed by the book of bleedin' obvious. I put it down to old age. |

| I have picked up a few "job lots" of tools, mainly engineeing stuff, there are allways duplicates or tools you will never use, I should really have an ebay clearout ! |
