Thought I'd set up a thread just for project cars that turn up, that might be of interest.

For today, a 1960 F-Type Victor:

This Sunbeam Talbot 90 doesn't look beyond hope either, the interior should tidy up nicely.

This MGB GT on Minilites looks like a half-decent project for the money - £439 currently...

So you havent seen the marina estate at £3995. Look very closely at the photos. One is a photo of a photo and it looks like it was taken on the kitchen table. The photos were taken in 2010 and he paid less than £2000 for it. Its a classic case of a dealer buying a car and doubling the price Evil or Very Mad

You're right Larry, you really have to watch out. I saw a camper van I liked a few weeks ago. The EBay shot was from two years ago when the owner bought it, as was his very long list of MOT fails. I tracked the same photos down on an old posting on a forum where he was very pleased having bought it, as he said "Cheap".

We all know how a vehicle can deteriorate if not used for two years especially when a wreck already. His reply was that it was better now because he has washed it!

There are loads of Ebay cases where if you reads carefully the thing is no ,longer as it appears on the photos.

Buyer beware!
