Interesting that you should say that, wet sanding was the way I did things for years, then I was told by a paint manufacturer about primer being porous, and that it was not recommended.
Same thing goes for tinting the primer as well. I used to do the same, then the same mfg. told me that tinting was a no-no...
Funny thing is, the only paint that I have ever had trouble with is the one that they sold....
Greeney, what kind of gun do you use? Conventional or HVLP?

Why not just go the 2k route, a mask can be purchased for about 60€ admittedly not air fed but absolutely fine as long as it has 2k markings on the filters, I have both types, I use the air fed one for full resprays and the normal one just for the odd part!
