I don't know the history of Morris Commercials but it looks rather earlier than 1937. That looks like the Bullnose engine.
The Series II 8/10 cwt van came out in July 1935.

| It is worth remembering that the commercial range was motor manufacturer's depository for obsolete passenger car parts when models were updated, but her I agree with the comments. I suggest that the artillery wheels would date this almost a decade earlier? |

The registration number is from 1937 but your Edwards info. does sound interesting John. I wonder if it "acquired" a later identity at some stage. Strange things happened to vehicles that were scrapped and then resurrected. Or maybe 1931 got read as 1937 at some stage, but that doesn't explain the registration number.

| That is definitely a T2 - 1 ton capacity, built 1931-36, so a 1937 registration date is not impossible. |
