No doubts about that one Rick.
They were poular over here too. So popular, in fact, that a few years ago, I was told quite emphatically that they were made by Volvo!!!!! |

| Since I only live about 2 miles from the John Deere factory I better say a John Deere Model B, but my personal favorite is the Ford 8N. |

| Mssey Frguson 35 or even 135 are collectable and are still used regulary by farms all over the country, they are also easy to get hold as ex scrapers etc. |

I just mentioned this post to a local farmer. His vote was for a modern John Deere. The reason: He is handicapped!
Stuchamp, do you know anything about a ´50 Champion? |

Hi Stuchamp,
Basically, anything and everything. My wife and I have found one in a field (!) that we can buy cheap. It needs a total restoration, including an interior, but seems pretty sound.
Maybe I could start a new thread on the Classic Car Forum, and we could start from there? |

Works for me. I have plenty of info here on the Studebakers.
I've have owned 3 of them. '42 Champion, '47 Champion which is the same basic body as the 1950, and also a '64 Studebaker Challenger. |

| Steam tractors have got to be in the running. Amazing engines that will last many times longer than a modern one, built with the future in mind!! |

I've always had a sneaking desire to own a Cropmaster one day, no idea if they are good or not, but I like the look of 'em
Not sure I've seen any pics of steam tractors!

yep, I like that one also!
Problem is that I like too many of them and not enough $$$ and room for them all. |

Happened across a really really really nice Standard Fordson tractor ('40s job) t'other day, only had 2 owners from new and always used in the same locality. Sadly it wasn't for sale, but a lovely thing to oggle at
