This is a photo of a ford 8, 5cwt. van I bought in 1958, for private use. It was dark green in colour, but I painted the top half a lighter shade of green, and put an old bus seat in the back to make it a four seater. |

Hi. Rick. No I didn,t put windows in it, I seem to remember if you did that, you had to pay purchase tax, as on cars at the time, but which vans were not subject to. |

The Austin 12 in the 'first car I drove thread' was replaced by one of these, based on the MO series Morris Oxford, same colour even. No photos were ever taken of it, so I have had to make to with a brochure illustration from Ebay. I had a few friends with motorbikes at the time, so I was very popular with those with broken bikes and legs :
