A friend of mine is looking to replace the wheel on a Series E, the one fitted is quite badly cracked so they're looking for a decent replacement

ta, Rick

Hi Rick

well this go more complicated than I had imagined! I found the steering columns which I knew had the wheels attached, but was a bit surprised to find the wheels were different!, one has solid spokes the other has wire ones, anyway after a bit of digging I found out the wire ones were fitted to the later cars (my 39 has solid spokes). so here they are;

the wire spoke one has no cracks but need some cleaning / tidying up, the other one has some cracks so probably no better than your mates.

Dave
