just joined the forum . here is my 1971 portafold folding caravan that i use for my weekend breaks and summer holidays. she only weighs in at 7cwt or 350kg (depends how old you are!). mostly made of fibreglass and towed behind a modern car , you don't know it's their. all general parts are readily available , via the portafold website (www.portafold.co.uk) , the manufacturers seem to have used standard parts , for most items , mini wheels , britax lights etc.
i live in perthshire , scotland and find her ideal for touring (been to skye , thurso , inverness etc , to name a few)
will post some more pics in the caravan section later , but am enjoying reading about other people's cars , vans , caravans etc. just now

in answer to rick's question the fins were deleted when the ansfold came in. how did you get on when you owned yours?
and that pic of tir907's Norton Commando........Real Nice bike. what age? about73 or 75? |
