Does anyone know if it is OK to apply filler over the top of a 3M PU panel adhesive, is it compatible and will it attach itself adequately? _________________ www.OldFrenchCars.com

If you are filling over an adhesive on a panel seam you will run the risk of the filler cracking if there is any scope for the panel to flex from vibration etc.
What vehicle, where on the vehicle & what are you trying to achieve?

Its on my Merc G Wagen, I was doing a bit of forest surfing and ripped the wheel arch off, so have repaired the section by welding in a new up to a panel seam that was originally filled, on the back of the receding lip, I used panel adhesive to fix it as it was almost impossible to get the weld gun in the confined space I used Terostat 9220, there isnt alot showing just a seam of 2mm by about 600mm
The body doesnt flex much as it has separate chassis and its a G Wagen but wasnt sure if the filler would stick to the seam and eventually drop off
Thank you _________________ www.OldFrenchCars.com

Use polyeurethane adhesive sealant like Sikaflex applied with a nozzle trimmed at about 45 degrees, use panel wipe on a fine cloth to clean off excess and smooth.
Overpaintable & it will never crack.
You could fill leaving a small gap (or cut the gap by hand with a hacksaw blade after filling) & use sealer to fill the gap,
