I bought this handbrake on ebay described as for a Sunbeam Alpine, Not like any I've seen. in my defence it was a poor photo & I've since been to specsavers! Its new & on the (deteriorated0 LABELS IT SAYS - sheet pressings and spinnings, Albion works. and in bold type - CAMELINAT C....then the tape runs out.

E Camelinat & Co were metal workers at the Albion Works in Birmingham (I had a little google... well, it's a quiet afternoon an' all Wink ) - don't know if that might make any sense with the context... they made "miscellaneous pressings, 70% of which were sold to the motor trade" though being the West Midlands this could of course mean any number of manufacturers!

They also made wardens helmets during WWII.

That offset bolt fixing reminds me of Morris 1000.
