"Lester Riley" information wanted!

Can anyone help with this one? Alessandro, who lives in Rome, dropped me an email, asking if I could help provide any more information on this lovely sportscar, named a Lester Riley ...

"I own in Italy a Lester Riley that was probably one of the four produced by Harry Lester, for the second period of the Monkey Stable Team (1952-55), whose drivers where Jim Mayer, Pat Griffith and Gerry Ruddock.

Have you any details, names of the drivers, ideas regarding where I can find information, or do you know of anyone that have information or own a similar car?? Thanks in advance for your kind help. Alessandro, Roma."

Does anyone reading this have any info on this distinctive car? if so, please drop me a line via the contact page and I will forward it on to Alessandro. Harry Lester was best known for building MG-based cars, but can anyone shed any light on this Riley-powered car?

From searching around online, there is a thread about the Lester-Riley on the Atlas F1 (Nostalgia) Forum, which may provide some more info on the car, and a photo of the car in action on the Barchetta site.
