1. Les & his Hillman Minx.
Les has sent in loads of interesting pics. Some were found in old albums, and others are from his own family album. The first two photographs on this page show him with his Minx in 1969.

The Minx model name first came out prior to WW2, and this example dates to the late 1950s, by which time Hillman was one of several marques making up the Rootes empire. This 1957 Minx was photographed at the end of the 1960s, and was still going strong in its 12th year.
