Seen from behind this photograph shows the rear end styling of the Austin Devon. Shortly after taking this picture I managed to persuade my other half to let me buy this actual car. This particular black example dates to 1949. It retains many of its original features including pop-up semaphore indicators that still work fine. Since buying it this A40 has been joined by a green pickup version.
