Foden FG6.
Looming into view is a 1949 Foden FG 6/15 that started out in life as a flatbed lorry. In the 1960s it was converted by Hazlemere Motors into a recovery wagon and used til 1983. Now in preservation it is still used from time to time. Some years back this great old workhorse dragged my old Dodge back from where it had lain for some years.

Restored & preserved vehicles at Sandbach Festival of Transport.
Photographed here is a preserved Foden FG6 that took part in the vintage vehicle event held in Sandbach. Mid way through the day, there was a run around the streets of this Cheshire town, and many vehicles took part. Some boiled up on this hot sunny day, but most completed the journey without a problem. For more photographs of vehicles (Fodens and others) simply visit the Sandbach show main page. There are 95 pictures featured from this transport festival, so if you are interested in preserved lorries, cars, and so on, have a look around!
All the photographs were taken by me at the 2006 event, and are subject to copyright etc. so please don't 'borrow' them, thanks.
