Morris 1100.
This cracking example of the ADO16 design was first registered early in 1964. Power comes from the standard 1098cc BMC A series engine which (like in the Mini) was mounted transversely.
Morris Books Whether for the 1100 as shown below, or any other type of Morris, it is worth having a look on Amazon for books, DVDs, Videos etc.

Restored & preserved vehicles at Sandbach Festival of Transport.
Photographed here is a preserved Morris 1100 that took part in the vintage vehicle event held in Sandbach. Mid way through the day, there was a run around the streets of this Cheshire town, and many vehicles took part. Some boiled up on this hot sunny day, but most completed the journey without a problem. For more photographs of vehicles (Morrises and others) simply visit the Sandbach show main page. There are 95 pictures featured from this transport festival, so if you are interested in preserved lorries, cars, and so on, have a look around!
All the photographs were taken by me at the 2006 event, and are subject to copyright etc. so please don't 'borrow' them, thanks.
