1. E-Series Wyvern.

The first Vauxhall Wyvern E-Series picture turned up in a collection of photos I bought several years ago, the others have now been added to the old car photos section of the site, on the relevant pages.
1950's Vauxhall Wyvern car.
Interestingly, a quick look on the Motor Vehicle Licencing website suggests that this classic Wyvern, photographed probably in the late 1950s, was still around in the mid 1980s. I'm told that 113 HMY is in fact still around, and belongs to a member of a Vauxhall owners club.
The MVL site suggests that the car was first registered in 1980 - perhaps it lost its original number and regained it in 1980? The engine size is given as 1507cc, a four-cylinder unit that appeared under the bonnet of Vauxhalls and Bedfords back in the day. The last nugget of information on the MVL site suggests that the car is/was blue in colour. Other than an RAC grille badge, this old Wyvern looks pretty much as it did when it rolled off Vauxhall's production line.

2. A 1956 Vauxhall Wyvern EIX.

A day out to the beach was captured on film next, a 1956 Wyvern is shown parked alongside the family that travelled in it. The Vauxhall's registration is WHW 409, a Bristol number.
