The ERF oil engined lorries.

Parrs were decidedly upbeat in their advertising for ERF lorries back at the start of WW2. Interesting that the artwork shows a young woman climbing into the cab of this classic truck from E.R. Foden. Prior to the war few women drove lorries but once the war kicked off they were soon to be seen driving lorries both for civilian operators and the armed forces.
