Not expensive either as Jupiters go!Where this fitted alongside the GRP R4 I do not know. It looks as though the engine cooling system has had a makeover! |

From the front it looks really good,but the back end looks like an afterthought. |

Yes Penman, that is the R4. When Jowett lost their body supply (Briggs, after the Ford acquisition) one of their ideas was to build a Glass Fibre reinforced bodyshell for a developed Jupiter, returning to the pre-war theme of everything produced in house. In the event 3 GRP cars and a single Aluminium bodied one were built, most of which survive. |
