Hi

Someone I know is restoring a couple of 50s/60s Chevy pickups, and he's looking for the correct profile strips to go in the rear bed area. They are available in the States, but due to the length required (8ft 1") they wont ship at a reasonable rate. Does anyone know where they can be bought in the UK??

ta
Rick

Try Rodley Motors, if they cant get hold of them, nobody can!

Otherwise, it can be time consuming, but they are easy enough to reproduce.

Just thought Rick the mouldings would be easy to get made up they would be a rolled pattern someone who has the right shaping tools could make them same type of pattern shape as on the door of the fordson.I have seen the machines they are like a press that you fit different rollers and pass the metal though to be shaped if all else fails.Maybe frosts could make them for him they have the gear to do it.
