I find that the DEBUG message comes up virtually every time I post. Can I suggest that if it persists Rick could put a sticky post at the top of the list warning about it.
If you ever get it, go back to the index and re-enter the thread and 99% of the time your posting WILL be there.
EDIT
In order to prove the exception to the rule, the DEBUG message stayed away when I posted the above. _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.

I get the debug message every time, it still enters the post though if I just leave it... _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

As the error seems to be in the email section (presumably where it looks to see if anyone has requested an email to be sent when a thread is updated) would it be possible to just disable that part? By that I just mean comment it out, rather than looking for some sort of configuration option. _________________ 1976 Vauxhall HP Firenza, 1976 Vauxhall Sportshatch (x2), 1986 Audi coupe quattro, 2000 Audi TT |

Thanks Rick, for clarifying what is going on!
I don't think it matters much as long as one is aware it's happening, but it certainly caught me out. This was the first time it has happened to me so I will be aware next time. |

Just ignore that message entirely.
If one wishes to view one's post beforehand, use the 'preview' button....
I find he debug message doesn't always come up if the preview is used first.
However, if one wishes to view one's post in all its glory, as part of the actual thread, then simply go back to the index page, and look it up in the same way one looks up what has recently been posted.... _________________ Dellow Mk2, 1951 built, reg 1952.

| If you want to post the £ sign use "& # 163 ;" without the spaces between the characters |

£ By George, I think we've got it!
Having said that, it worked when I tried it, then when I edited to add the 'by George bit, it reverted to a ? (question mark).
I then had to edit the comment, delete the question mark and re-type the "& # 163 ;" without the spaces between the characters. So I'll probably just stick to tying the word quid! |
