Just wondering if anyone managed to venture to the inaugural John Haynes Classic Car show last weekend?

i looked at the show when first details came out but at 18 quid to show your car i said no way, the practical classics chaps were there and pics on the f/b page show not that busy at one point, very wet as well.
i don't know any one from 3 different local clubs that went either.
all said too dear.

Sooner or later organisers will realise that we are not cash cows to be milked with daft entry fees.

i hope so, i know things are expensive to stage a show but my local club the bridgwater classic club manage to have a succesful show in august with 3-400 vehicles, all free to enter, have a great show, pay for lots of things we need and still give away thousands in donations to various charities, inc the air ambulance.

We have football on a Sunday so couldn't have made it but we were certainly not going to pay that entry on top of the fuel to get there and back.

I've just seen some video footage of the event and it doesn't look very busy with the public at all.
