Just wondering if anyone managed to venture to the inaugural John Haynes Classic Car show last weekend? _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

i looked at the show when first details came out but at 18 quid to show your car i said no way, the practical classics chaps were there and pics on the f/b page show not that busy at one point, very wet as well.
i don't know any one from 3 different local clubs that went either.
all said too dear. |

Sooner or later organisers will realise that we are not cash cows to be milked with daft entry fees. _________________ 1953 Citroen Traction

i hope so, i know things are expensive to stage a show but my local club the bridgwater classic club manage to have a succesful show in august with 3-400 vehicles, all free to enter, have a great show, pay for lots of things we need and still give away thousands in donations to various charities, inc the air ambulance. |

We have football on a Sunday so couldn't have made it but we were certainly not going to pay that entry on top of the fuel to get there and back. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

I've just seen some video footage of the event and it doesn't look very busy with the public at all. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |
