It may be a forum setting, rather than anything random - on phpBB it's possible to limit the maximum number of links per post. Maybe it's set to four. _________________ 1976 Vauxhall HP Firenza, 1976 Vauxhall Sportshatch (x2), 1986 Audi coupe quattro, 2000 Audi TT |

It is a nice Hillman, good price for the buyer but tbh the popularity of these models just isn't there.
As we've said on here before the prewar market is on the downward trend. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

No, it was having problems with the quotes around the 'big' in the url. You can see that it does not underline the whole of the url. _________________ a car stops being fun when it becomes an investment |

In many cases yes (there's a tidy looking 30s Hillman on ebay at the moment for not-a-lot). However a decent, but not immaculate, Austin 10/4 saloon hammered for over 10k a few days back at auction, so there are people out there still prepared to pay well for pre-war (not old enough to be vintage) cars. Maybe the Austin had a "desirable" and removable registration number, I haven't checked.

As an owner of many prewar Hillmans over the years we have always found that there just isn't the following as you'd get with Austin / Morris / Ford etc.
So generally you can get quite a lot of car and good build quality too for very reasonable amounts. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |
