Just removing my carbs as often the case the last nut in the most akward place wasnt coming off
Once I realised it was turning the stud out and it was fully out, I wiggled the setup forward and put loctite on the stud and screwed it back in.
My problem is my Loctite is German and so are the instructions on the tube How long does it take to cure before I can take the nut off the stud again

mines going well apart from burning quite a bit of oil
it failed its MOT on the front V rubbers but has behaved itself otherwise, only managed about 600 miles so far due to work/price of fuel |

I have asked this question before (elsewhere) and could not get an answer so here we go again.
With the 2 front float bowls being infront of the carb body does the car suffer from fuel starvation under heavy or maybe not so heavy braking? _________________ 1936 Morris 8 Series 1

Highly unlikely as the fuel is drawn from the bottom of the float chamber and with the float resting on the top there isnt really anywhere for it to go. |
