Hi,
I have a number of AC filters type FZ3 in a metal canister, but I do not know what they fit, can anybody help identifying them. They need to go to someone who can use them!
Dimensions are: Height 12 cm, diameter 9 cm.
Thank you!

| This looks the type that could be fitted as an after market part of a kit to the old sit up and beg Ford pops. |

I reckon with that fitting they are by-pass filters, which may or may not be aftermarket. If so they must never be adapted to fit a full flow filter system. _________________ Quote from my late Dad:- You only need a woman and a car and you have all the problems you

The filter body is typical size/colour of early canister types from AC. However, the connector size is not sufficient to be a full-flow. It is not an engine-mounted unit, it is fitted to the inner wing connected by pipes.
The filter appears to be a by-pass retro fit type with pipe connection to the male thread and a banjo connction to the female thread.
These filters were available in different lengths but the connections were similar. |
