Old Car Spares
Free noticeboard for classic & vintage car parts.
OldClassicCar was set up several years ago, and this section enables anyone to post FREE spare parts advertisements on this website. Why not try this online autojumble too?
To place a free noticeboard ad is simple, just go down the main menu list, pick the make and model of car that is of interest to
you, and enter a brief text ad. If you want to research the history of your car, or are looking for manuals and
literature, please place a free classified ad here too.
This virtual swapmeet service is not for listing cars for sale, only parts and information/literature requests. To sell a classic or
vintage car online, you can try my sister site,
Pedigree Automobiles.
As well as bits of old car that you want
to sell, you can also post Wanted notices too, so if you're missing a rare bit for your latest rebuild project, why not
pop a note on the relevant page, and see if you can get the right bits using the internet. As content is added to the pages,
they will become a rich online resource for all old car items. Terms of Service etc are at the foot of this page -
basically saying that no-one at OldClassicCar is endorsing any of the items listed! Caveat Emptor as always!!
I hope you find this new free autojumble service useful, many people have emailed me over the last few years asking for advice on
how to shift their surplus bits, or some pointers on how to find the parts they are missing. Hopefully this 'web based swapmeet' will
help things a little! If you're parting out, or breaking, a car then by all means list the components you don't need here (for example wings/fenders, trim, wheels etc).
Companies interested in advertising on this site can read more about the opportunities available here.
Also new: View all ads by Make!
Previously, you could only view the ads that had been placed for a particular make & model on one page, now you can view all the adverts placed for a given make, all bundled into one page, simply choose a make from the list to the right here....
Dealing with terminology differences!
Of course one of the classic problems when dealing with old car parts over international boundaries, is that of terminology. Despite several countries
speaking more-or-less the same language (in this case English), many terms and phrases vary, so included below is a quick reference guide for anyone wishing to 'translate' UK motoring terms to their US equivalent(s), and vice versa!!

Automobilia Ads
Many people collect particular items regardless of what car they apply to (for examples badges, handbooks and so on). In response to this requirement, I've added an Automobilia ads section, for all those generic advertisements that don't fit in with this make/model specific area - have a look for yourself.
